Welcome to Kilburn Skip Hire. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our skip hire services. By hiring a skip from us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Definitions
- "Company" refers to Kilburn Skip Hire.
- "Customer" means the individual or entity hiring the skip.
- "Skip" is the container provided for waste disposal.
2. Hiring Process
To hire a skip, the Customer must make a reservation through our designated booking channels. The reservation must include accurate details regarding the size of the skip, rental period, and delivery address.
2.1 Reservation Confirmation
Upon receiving a reservation request, the Company will confirm availability and provide a booking reference number. It is the Customer's responsibility to present this reference upon delivery.
3. Payment Terms
Payments for skip hire are due as per the agreed schedule at the time of booking. We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and bank transfers.
3.1 Late Payments
In the event of a late payment, the Company reserves the right to apply additional fees or interest as stipulated in the invoice.
4. Delivery and Collection
The Company will deliver the skip to the specified location on the agreed date. Collection will occur at the end of the rental period unless otherwise arranged.
4.1 Delivery Conditions
Customers must ensure that the delivery area is accessible and free from obstructions. Any additional charges arising from difficult access will be the responsibility of the Customer.
5. Use of Skip
The skip provided by the Company is intended for the disposal of general household and commercial waste only. The following items are strictly prohibited:
- Hazardous materials (e.g., asbestos, chemicals)
- Electrical appliances
- Paints and solvents
- Batteries
- Medicines
- Explosives
Improper use of the skip may result in penalties or additional charges.
5.1 Weight Limit
Each skip has a designated weight limit. Exceeding this limit may result in extra fees or the need for an additional skip.
6. Liability
The Company is not liable for any damage to property or injury to persons arising from the use of the skip, except where due to our negligence.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the placement of the skip does not violate any local regulations or cause damage to surrounding properties.
7. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery to avoid cancellation fees. Cancellations made within 48 hours may incur charges equivalent to 50% of the total rental cost.
7.1 Rescheduling
Requests to reschedule the delivery or collection date are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Kilburn Skip Hire operates. Any disputes arising from the use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in this area.
8.1 Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to seek an amicable resolution through negotiation before pursuing legal action.
9. Changes to Terms
The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to the Customer through appropriate channels, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Customers will be notified of significant changes to these Terms and Conditions via email or other agreed-upon methods.
10. Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our separate Privacy Policy document for information on how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
10.1 Data Protection
We comply with all applicable data protection laws and ensure that your personal information is handled securely and responsibly.
11. Force Majeure
The Company is not liable for any failure to perform its obligations under these Terms and Conditions due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, or other unforeseen events.
11.1 Notification
In the event of a force majeure situation, we will notify the Customer as soon as possible and make reasonable efforts to reschedule services.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
12.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Company and the Customer regarding the use of our services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
13. Acceptance of Terms
By hiring a skip from Kilburn Skip Hire, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
